We've been here a few times and the food is delicious! It's run by a sweet family and has good ambiance. Definitively worth the 20 min drive from our house, we'll be back!

This is our second time having Sushi J. We were really hoping to be satisfied the second time but were disappointed.
The first time we got the bento boxes because I was pregnant and we were excited about how much came with the boxes but then the food was only average. Nothing stood out and some we didnt like.
Today we got sushi and it was average.
We tried the philly roll- which I hate smoked salmon and stated many times to have raw salmon instead, and to my dismay it was smoked when I opened the box. If it had been raw salmon I would have loved it.
We got the salem roll and it was ok. We thought it could use more sauce
The last roll we got was baked scallop-this one was really fishy both the crab and the tiny piece of scallop. We couldn't finish it.
The price of the sushi was good but in all I don't think we will be going back unless I really need a sushi fix. -

This place is incredible. The quality and taste is excellent. Great selection too. This time I tried squid along with my favs. I was hesitant but am now a huge fan. I also tried a few other things I don't normal eat when I go out for sushi.

Very good little sushi joint for downtown Dallas. Quality and fresh! Popular stop for me. Way better then any momiji around. The roll maker loves to hear your feedback to help with future orders. Most definitely recommend.

Went here for my birthday on a lunch break with my girlfriend, was not impressed. Service was severely lacking we had to ask for the dishes for soy sauce, dishes for us to put our sushi on, drinks, chips sticks, all things that should be at the table when you sit down at a sushi bar. It took over 45 minutes for us to get just a couple rolls and some nigiri. They brought us out some sesame balls complimentary which was nice. At one point they also brought us food for another table then had to come back and get it because it was the wrong table. The sushi was also very bland and flavorless. It was expensive and not worth the extreme wait. Would not recommend or go back to again.
